Basic Purpose / Accountabilities:
The Drilling HSE Coordinator supports Wells team in planning and implementing the HSE programs and activities during Drilling campaign.
Primary Functions/Responsibilities:
- Focal point of the Drilling HSE program and for monitoring HSE continuous improvement plan.
- Advice Wells team on all aspects related to HSE matters.
- Develop and implement Drilling specific HSE deliverables (Bridging HSE arrangement, ERP, ERA, OSCP, contractor audit, spreads’ vetting, HSE plan, etc).
- Train and induct Drilling team and Contractors with COP HSEMS.
- Coordinate Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment especially on critical activities (rig move, rig up/down, marine activities, SIMOPS, etc). This includes ERA.
- Track, follow up corrective actions into closure and update HSE Action Tracker and HSE Risk Register.
- Participate in pre-Drilling activity (i.e DWOP, CWOP, Pre-Spud & etc.) meetings.
- Support roll out and implementation of COP Life Saving Rules and Process Safety Fundamentals.
- Coordinate all HSE activities at rig sites and onshore supply base.
- Conduct LSR Field Verification on the rig.
- Closely monitor the execution of drilling-HSE focused areas especially on DROPS, TPW (Temporary Pipework), lifting management, etc.
- Implement Contractor HSE Management System – pre award, post award until demobilization phase.
- Facilitate HSE Audits (or participate in Rig Inspection) and Review.
- Facilitate Incident Investigation.
- Actively participate in rig HSE initiatives and programs that include but are not limited to, Safety Observations and HSE Trainings.
HSE Roles:

- Actively engage in and contribute to HSE communication and consultation processes.
- Actively participate in HSE initiatives and programs that include but are not limited to, Safety Observations and HSE Trainings.

Job Specifications:
- Minimum Diploma, preferably in Engineering / Science / HSE
- 10 years HSE experience in upstream oil & gas industries
- Minimum directly involve in 2 drilling campaigns as Drilling HSE Advisor
- Preferably with TAD rig experience, with good understanding on operational / interface requirement
- Experience in preparing Drilling HSE documents (Bridging Document with Rig Contractor, SIMOPS / MOPO with Production, Emergency Response & etc.)
- Experience in managing drilling incidents and investigation, and ERP response
- Have offshore drilling HSE experience
