Job description:

We are seeking an experienced Installation Manager to oversee the full execution of façade and curtain wall installation works across project sites in Singapore. This role is responsible for ensuring that site installation activities are completed safely, on time, and in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards. The successful candidate will serve as the main on-site coordinator between internal project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and main contractors to ensure efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Progress Management

• Prepare, monitor, and update detailed installation schedules in line with the master construction programme.
• Track daily site progress and ensure project milestones are achieved according to schedule.
• Identify delays, risks, and site constraints early, and take corrective action to minimize impact.
• Coordinate closely with main contractors, consultants, and internal departments to maintain smooth site operations.

2. Installation Supervision and Execution

• Oversee all façade and curtain wall installation activities, including unitized systems, stick systems, glazing, and aluminium cladding.
• Ensure all installation works are carried out according to approved shop drawings, method statements, and QA/QC requirements.
• Supervise subcontractors and installation teams to maintain productivity, workmanship quality, and site discipline.
• Conduct routine site inspections and resolve technical or operational issues on site.

3. Technical Coordination

• Review and interpret façade shop drawings, structural details, and installation sequences.
• Liaise with design and engineering teams on technical clarifications, design changes, and site modifications.
• Coordinate material delivery schedules and ensure materials and resources are ready for installation activities.

4. Safety and Compliance

• Ensure all site works comply with Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety procedures.
• Conduct toolbox meetings regularly and enforce all site safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, including progress reports, inspection records, and checklists.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in façade or curtain wall installation within the construction industry.
• Proven hands-on experience managing on-site installation works for high-rise or large-scale façade projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of façade systems, including unitized systems, stick systems, cladding, and glazing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and installation details.
• Familiarity with Singapore construction practices and WSH safety standards is an added advantage.
• Strong site coordination, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Willing to be deployed across multiple project sites in Singapore.
