We are seeking a skilled JIT Inspector to oversee flange management and bolting procedures at project sites. This role ensures compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and safety requirements while maintaining accurate inspection records.

• Inspect flange joint preparation prior to assembly (face condition, cleanliness, alignment).

• Verify correct gasket type, rating, and installation as per specification.

• Check bolt and nut materials, size, grade, and condition.

• Ensure proper lubrication is applied to bolts/nuts as required.

• Monitor and witness bolt tightening activities (torque/tensioning) in accordance with approved procedures.

• Verify tightening sequence and method (cross pattern, passes, etc.).

• Review and confirm calibration status of torque/tensioning equipment.

• Ensure compliance with approved method statements and project specifications.

• Witness leak testing (hydrotest/pneumatic test) where applicable.

• Maintain inspection reports, bolt torque records, and documentation.

• Experience: Minimum 1 year in flange management and bolting inspection.

• Qualification: Passed JIT certification.

• Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with flange management and bolting procedures.

  • Knowledge of standards (ASME, ASTM, project specifications).

  • Ability to read isometric drawings and P&ID.

• Soft Skills: Strong communication and reporting abilities.
