Red Alpha Cybersecurity is a talent development company and is looking for aspiring Software Engineers to join our Programme, a unique opportunity to break into Software Engineering with structured training and guaranteed job placement.

Whether you're a fresh graduate or looking to pivot into Software Engineering, this programme is designed to equip you with the technical capabilities, tools, and real-world exposure to succeed.

About the Programme

Successful applicants will go through a fully sponsored, full-time BootCamp (3–4 months) followed by deployment to our hiring partners.

BootCamp Phase

• Duration: 3–4 months
• Full-time, in-person training
• Monthly training allowance provided
• Hands-on projects, pair programming, code reviews, and agile simulations

Deployment Phase

• Duration: 3 years
• Full-time salaried position
• Exposure to real-world projects, tech stacks, and engineering teams
• Continued mentorship and career support

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web and backend applications
• Build responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using modern frameworks
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers in agile teams
• Write clean, well-documented code and conduct code reviews
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise application performance
• Manage databases (SQL/NoSQL) and ensure data integrity
• Contribute to DevSecOps, testing, CI/CD, and deployment workflows
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and development trends

• JavaScript, Java, Python, C++, C#, TypeScript, Rust

Front-End Frameworks:

• React, Angular.js, Vue.js, Next.js

Back-End Tools:

• Node.js, Express.js, Spring Boot, FastAPI

Databases:

• MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis

Software Engineering Fundamentals:

• RESTful APIs, microservices, DevSecOps concepts
• Agile development methodology
• Version control with Git
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Cloud & DevOps:

• Experience or interest in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, Jenkins, etc.
