Job Description:

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Virtualization Management: Install, configure, and manage VMware vSphere, ESXi hosts, and vCenter Servers.
• Resource Allocation: Provision virtual machines (VMs), manage storage (VMFS, NFS, vSAN), and optimize networking (vSwitch, Distributed vSwitch).
• Infrastructure Health: Monitor server performance, capacity planning, and ensure uptime through HA (High Availability) and DRS (Distributed Resource Scheduler).
• Maintenance & Security: Apply patches and upgrades (patching ESXi hosts), manage backups, and implement security measures like VM encryption and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Troubleshooting: Resolve complex technical issues related to virtual machines, hosts, or storage connectivity

Core Skills & Requirements

• Expertise: Deep knowledge of VMware vSphere 7.x/8.x, vCenter, vMotion, and Virtual SAN.
• OS Knowledge: Experience with Windows Server and Linux administration.
• Networking/Storage: Familiarity with SAN/NAS storage and network protocols.
• Certification: VMware Certified Professional (VCP) is highly desirable.
• Soft Skills: Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
