Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation Tester with a strong background in the banking domain to join the client team. The ideal candidate will have 6 years of experience in software testing, with expertise in Selenium, Robot Framework, API testing, and familiarity with Salesforce. This role will focus on testing new releases for impacted applications and creating automated non-regression tests for a major refactoring of a critical internal tool. The successful candidate will work closely with product owners, IT Application Managers, and development teams within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Note:

• This position only requires you to work in the office 2 days a week; the remaining days can be remote.
• Only local candidates will be considered
• Salary up to MYR 14K

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Software Tester with a focus on automation.
• Proven experience in the banking or financial services domain.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in SQL queries (MS SQL Server).
• Extensive experience in test automation using Selenium and Robot Framework.
• Hands-on experience with API testing, including RESTful APIs, and working with XML and JSON data formats.
• Expertise in continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) environments, including tools like Git, Jenkins, Ant/Maven.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and its testing considerations.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
• Strong IT mindset with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technical environments and tools.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with developers and other stakeholders.
