Job Title: Database Administrator (Oracle + MSSQL) – L2

Experience: 3–5 Years

Level: Junior / L2

Contract Duration: 2 Years (Extended and renewed)

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) with strong hands-on experience in both Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for database installation, configuration, maintenance, performance tuning, and ensuring high availability and security across systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage Oracle and MSSQL databases
• Implement and support High Availability & Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) solutions
• Oracle: RAC, Data Guard, Active Data Guard, VCS
• MSSQL: Always On Availability Groups
• Perform backup and recovery operationsOracle: RMAN, expdp/impdp
• MSSQL: Native backup/restore methods
• Monitor database performance and perform query optimization & tuning
• Execute database security hardening and ensure compliance with standards
• Troubleshoot database issues, including build failures and third-party integrations
• Monitor system resources (CPU, memory, disk, I/O) and optimize utilization
• Work in Unix/Linux environments and manage database-related tasks via command line

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Database Administrator
• Strong hands-on experience in both Oracle DBA and MSSQL DBA
• Expertise in:
• Database installation, configuration, and administration
• HA/DR setups (Oracle RAC/Data Guard, MSSQL Always On)
• Backup & recovery strategies
• Performance tuning and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in SQL and Unix/Linux commands
• Experience in database security and compliance

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Exposure to MySQL / MariaDB
• Experience with Sybase
• Experience managing mixed database environments
