Job Summary:
Responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on equipment and utilities to ensure optimal operation in a cleanroom environment. Collaborate with engineers to implement schedules, maintain accurate records, and assist with staff training while maintaining a focus on safety and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, utilities, and cleanroom facilities to ensure smooth operations.
Troubleshoot and repair faults in equipment and machinery to restore proper function.
Assist engineers in setting maintenance schedules, maintaining records, training new staff, and supporting new equipment and processes.
Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy work environment by following safety procedures and using protective equipment.
Attend required health and safety training and comply with related policies and practices.
Report accidents, injuries, hazards, and emergencies to supervisors or the Safety Department promptly.
Follow operating procedures and handle equipment and materials correctly.
Promote accident prevention through active participation in safety practices.
Communicate clearly with internal departments and external contractors to support operational needs.
Support continuous improvement projects and encourage safety and housekeeping initiatives such as Kaizen and 6S.
Undertake any other reasonable duties / projects which may be required from time to time.
Competencies
Minimally NITEC.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Sound judgment, strong teamwork, and strict adherence to safety protocols.
Flexibility to work varied hours as required.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and other custom software.
Knowledge of facilities, utilities, and equipment maintenance in cleanroom environments preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills considered an advantage.
