Whiskers N Paws is seeking an energetic and relationship-driven Business Development & Partnership Manager to help build our pet lifestyle ecosystem powered by the HAPI app . HAPI is an AI-powered pet community platform that helps pet parents create fun pet avatars, record memories, and access care guidance.
The person in this role will turn HAPI into a comprehensive pet lifestyle ecosystem. You will build partnerships, onboard merchants and NGOs, and develop HAPI+ benefits to drive user growth. Crucially, you will also act as a bridge to the F&B sector , onboarding pet-friendly venues into the Whiskers N Paws ecosystem by providing them with specialized products and services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build the Community
Grow and engage the pet-parent community through events, campaigns, and user referrals.
Coordinate activities such as pet meetups, workshops, adoption events, and charity campaigns.
Encourage users to share pet stories, avatar creations, and app experiences within HAPI.
2. Develop Partnerships
Invite merchants to offer rewards, discounts, and exclusive experiences to HAPI users.
Identify partners across pet food, grooming, vet care, training, and lifestyle brands.
Structure win-win proposals that provide partner exposure while giving HAPI users clear value.
3. F&B Strategic Onboarding & Integration
Act as the primary bridge to the F&B industry , onboarding pet-friendly cafes and restaurants into the Whiskers N Paws/HAPI ecosystem.
Promote and provide Whiskers N Paws products and services (such as wholesale supplies or pet-friendly amenities) to these F&B venues.
Help pet-friendly F&B partners use HAPI for awareness, merchant-led promotions, and offline activations.
4. Invite Merchants, NGOs, and Institutions
Onboard shelters, animal welfare groups, schools, and community groups to the platform.
Explain HAPI’s value proposition clearly to different types of partners.
Build long-term relationships with credible institutions to strengthen brand trust.
5. Promote the App and Drive User Growth
Support app launch campaigns, referral programs, and social media collaborations.
Create promotional materials, partner pitches, and HAPI app demos.
Track which channels, events, and partners bring in the most engaged HAPI users.
Who you are
Experience: 3–7 years in business development, partnerships, community management, or lifestyle platforms.
Communication: Ability to explain new ideas simply and persuasively in English and Cantonese.
Skills: Strong at partnership development, merchant onboarding, and hands-on execution.
Attributes: Energetic, practical, and comfortable working in a startup-style environment.
Passion: Deeply passionate about pets, lifestyle communities, and building new ecosystems.
