- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including engineers, manufacturers, and procurement teams.
- Maintain long-term relationships with existing customers and act as the primary point of contact for all inquiries.
- Regularly follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for repeat or additional business.
- Address post-sale issues related to product quality, delivery timelines, or service concerns.
- Manage the customer sales pipeline, track all sales activities, and report on performance, forecasts, and opportunities.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and tenders based on customer requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to secure profitable sales deals.
- Provide regular updates on sales performance and forecasts to the Sales Manager.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure accurate quotations, manufacturable solutions, and clear project specifications.
- Support customers in understanding sheet metal processes, materials, and fabrication options.
- Work closely with project managers and production teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services.
- Assist customers in coordinating schedules, timelines, and delivery requirements.
- Ensure smooth communication and handover between sales, engineering, and production departments.
Requirements
- At least a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of working experience in sales within sheet metal fabrication, manufacturing, or related industries.
- Familiarity with industry standards, product specifications, and customer requirements within the fabrication or engineering environment.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Willing to work at Nibong Tebal, Penang
