Redwood is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Quantity Surveyor (Millwork/Façade) to support our expanding portfolio of premium retail and construction projects.

Role Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and commercially aware Quantity Surveyor (Millwork/Façade) to support project delivery and management across our portfolio of premium projects. This role will play a critical part in ensuring project contractual matters are executed efficiently and accurately.

The successful candidate will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from tender preparation and cost evaluation to contract administration and final account settlement while working closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth and successful project execution.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and manage tender documentation, including Bills of Quantities (BOQ), tender clarifications, and unit pricing.
• Carry out accurate quantity take-offs and measurements based on drawings and project specifications.
• Prepare project proposals and quotations for clients in a timely and professional manner.
• Source and prepare tender documentation for subcontractors and vendors to obtain competitive quotations.
• Manage tender administration processes and support the overall execution of project works.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations, and prepare detailed price comparisons and costing summaries.
• Administer project documentation, including interim valuations, pricing and negotiation of contract variations, updates to claims submissions, and preparation of final accounts.
• Prepare and submit monthly progress claims to clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare, verify, and maintain records of project variation works and site instructions.
• Perform other quantity surveying duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant Millwork/Façade working experience in quantity surveying or construction-related roles for.
• Strong understanding of tender processes, contract administration, and cost management.
• Proficient in quantity take-offs and interpreting technical drawings.
• Good analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and coordination skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in construction, fit-out, or luxury retail projects will be an advantage.
