Summary of the role

Reporting to the Finance Controller Asia, you will be the operational anchor for our Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions. Based in Bangsar South, your mission is to ensure absolute stability and accuracy across high-volume transactions, maintaining the integrity of our financial operations in a fast-paced Consumer Goods environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Operational Stewardship: Manage end-to-end AP and AR operations, ensuring every invoice and payment is processed with precision and timeliness.
• Service Excellence: Oversee vendor payments, collections, and credit management, acting as the reliable bridge between Finance, Commercial, and Supply Chain.
• Disciplined Compliance: Ensure rigorous adherence to company policies, MFRS/IFRS standards, and internal control frameworks.
• Month-End Governance: Drive a seamless month-end close process, maintaining high standards for reconciliations, trade balances, and aging analysis.
• Audit Readiness: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of all AP/AR inquiries.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline (MIA/ ACCA/ CPA/ CIMA preferred).
• 8 – 10 years of experience in Finance Operations, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven expertise in managing high transaction volumes within a Shared Services/ GBS setup.
• Technical mastery of end-to-end finance operations, internal controls, and working capital management.
• Resilience & Discipline: Ability to thrive in a results-driven environment while maintaining a relentless focus on stability and accuracy.
