[What the role is]

[LTA-PT] ASSISTANT MANAGER, AUDIT AND COMPLIANCE

[What you will be working on]

As Assistant Manager, Audit & Compliance, you will be part of a dedicated team working to ensure that Singapore’s public bus fleet consistently delivers safe, comfortable, and sustainable journeys for all bus commuters.

Your will contribute to enhancing bus service reliability, commuter experience, and fleet innovation by conducting audits and maintenance planning. Your work will directly support the goal of making Singapore’s bus network a trusted, inclusive, and sustainable public transport that commuters feel proud to use.

What You Will Be Working On

Your will support a multidisciplinary team of engineers to deliver the following key responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Compliance Assist in planning and conducting regular maintenance audits to ensure the Public Transport Operators (PTOs) comply with Work Instructions, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM)‑recommended regimes, regulatory requirements, industry standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Supporting investigations into bus-related incidents and accidents, identifying root causes, and implementing safety and preventive measures.
  • Review and evaluate the PTOs’ maintenance plans to ensure they adhere to best practices in asset management and are adequate for maintaining the public bus fleet.
  • Support the Electrification of Singapore Bus Fleet: Assist in providing inputs on the specifications for new bus procurement and conduct overseas inspections checks for the first article.

[What we are looking for]

  • Knowledge in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent).
  • Up to 3 years of relevant experience preferred in automotive technology operations or related fields, including project management and customer/stakeholder engagement.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Good communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with bus technologies, especially electric or cleaner energy vehicles, as well as fleet operations, is an advantage.
  • Strong passion for public transport improvement, sustainability, and enhancing commuter experience.
