About the Role

We are partnering with a leading A1 Main Contractor to hire an experienced Construction Manager to lead large-scale LTA/infrastructure projects, including MRT, rail depot, or major civil works.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day site operations to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with specifications.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site teams to ensure smooth execution of construction activities.
• Monitor construction progress, quality, and productivity, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify risks, resolve issues proactively, and mitigate potential delays.
• Plan and manage site logistics, including materials, manpower, and equipment, to optimise resource utilisation.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders, providing regular progress updates and resolving technical or site-related matters.
• Enforce workplace health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company requirements.
• Prepare and submit site reports, progress updates, and documentation to support project tracking and decision-making.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in managing construction projects within a main contractor environment.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and local building regulations.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical specifications effectively.
• Experience in project planning, scheduling, and resource management.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Salary: up to S$12,000 and Bonus (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
