Responsibilities
Role Purpose
The Marketing – Product Sourcingrole is responsible for identifying, positioning, and promoting Tradeasia’s chemicaland polymer productsacross digital platforms and marketing channels. This role sits between sourcing, sales, and marketing, ensuring the right products are sourced,packaged, and marketedeffectively to meet global demand.
This is not a traditional brand marketing—it is a commercial, product-driven marketing role.
Key Responsibilities
Product Sourcing s Market Research
· Identify high-demand chemical and polymer products by region and industry
· Work with sourcing teams to confirm supplier availability and commercial viability
· Track market trends, pricing movements, and emerging product opportunities
· Translate technical product data into market-friendly, buyer-focused content
· Define value propositions by industry application
· Support product launches and digital promotions
· Coordinate creation of product pages, specifications, and application content
· Ensure consistency of product information across global and country platforms
· Support SEO-friendly content development (with digital/SEO teams)
· Provide product insights and materials to regional sales teams
· Support campaigns aimed at specific industries (detergents, polymers, textiles, etc.)
· Work closelywith management to prioritize products and execute based on business needs
· • Drive inbound inquiries for priority products andsupport conversion into sales
· • Adjust product focus based on performance(inquiries, conversion, margins)
· 3–8+ years in chemical marketing, product management, or trading support
· Knowledge of industrial chemicals and/or polymers
· Strong commercial awareness,including pricing, margins, and demand trends
· Strong coordination and communication skills
· Comfortable working with cross-border teams
· Chemical engineering, chemistry, or materials scienceeducation OR
· Strong commercial experience in chemical distribution
· Prior exposure to B2B marketing or digital product platforms is an advantage
· Product storytelling (technical → commercial)
· Market intelligence and analysis
· Stakeholder coordination
· Attention to detail and data accuracy
· Execution mindset with abilityto respond quickly to market changes
