岗位职责

  • Supervising the Plating processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner.
  • Liaising with other engineers to develop plans that improve production, costs, and labor required.
  • Diagnosing the quality issues in the Plating line and providing recommendations, testing and training.
  • Keeping abreast of advancements in plating new process, existing plating process, and sharing knowledge with co-workers.
  • Drawing up production schedules, ordering chemicals and spare parts for plating related equipment.
  • Arranging for Au precious metal recycle process.
  • Coordinating with Lab Technician for analyzing of plating chemicals. Arrange with Plating Line leader to do topping up chemicals, doing routing maintenance of chemicals and setting new make-up of plating chemical baths.
  • Planning for daily plating schedule with Digitalization system and Cronet system. Arrange for taking Au factor of every Au plated parts per month as minimum. Doing Au stock-take monthly.
  • Coordinating with Maintenance technician to repair plating barrels, plating equipment and plating machine.
  • Scheduling meetings with relevant departments and stakeholders for Facility Maintenance, LMT, Digitalization, Blue Sky and Quality Projects.
  • Analyzing all facets of Plating and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Optimization for water, electricity, chemical and indirect raw materials.
  • Establishing safety procedures and protocols(aligned with EHS committee) that consider the workers’ well-being especially for handling hazardous chemicals and that minimize the carbon footprint.
  • Obtaining any materials (e.g. filler, dummy parts) and equipment required.
  • Possessing strong leadership skill to manage the plating operation independently achieving target volume and meeting with delivery date without major quality issue.
