We’re looking to add an Engineer, QA in Tebrau / Kempas, Johor Bahru.

 
As an Engineer, QA, You will:

Ensure product quality conformed to customer's requirement, liaise with customer on product quality issues,

initiate Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions and audits on quality deficiencies and drive for quality

improvement.

• Conduct scheduled and impromptu audits on areas concern;

• Act as ESD compliance audit team or area representative;

• Documentation and ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 compliance;

• Internal auditor for the various ISO standards;

• Handle the various ISO Certification and Product Safety audits [Senior position];

• Provide audit data and Corrective Action Requests (CAR) as needed based on conducted audits;

• Publish audit results;

• Manage sorting activities including raising purge notice for customer quality complaints;

• Provide Corrective Action Requests as needed based on customer complaints;

• Ensure Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions (CAPA) are implemented per the provided CAR;

• Initiate and lead product yield continuous improvement activities;

• Perform verification with Test/Process Engineer on reject PCBAs and arrange for timely return to the PCBA

suppliers;

• Develop process with customer quality representatives to improve quality in product and process;

• Compile QMS Management Review presentation [Senior position];

• Compile quality data for Quarterly Business Review (QBR) with customer [Senior position];

• Compile and lead Yield Report review with customer;

• Compile quality report, analyse data and provide suggestion on quality improvement plan;

• Conduct product testing and inspection (if applicable) as requested by customer;

• Lead process risk management & product/process validation activities (if applicable);

• Manage RMA activities;

• Ensure Engineering Change Order (ECO) implementation and closure;

• Manage and train QA Inspectors;

• Participate in Kaizen Week;

• Contribute to the workplace safety and health improvement for the employees, as well as environmental

protection, by adhering to the company’s Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures, and

helping to achieve EHS objectives and targets through participation of EHS programs;

• Participate in any special projects/programs as & when assigned by Company

What skills and experiences are we looking:

• • Knowledge in Microsoft Office;

  • Knowledge in LEAN Six Sigma, ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 is an added advantage;

  • Mature team player with the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively at all levels;

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organisation and leadership skills;

  • Ability to work independently;

  • Problem solving abilities;

  • Dedicated, self-motivated and willing to learn.

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Non Engineering, Applied Science or equivalent;
