• Setup and optimise layout & space management within the spare part warehouse.
• Manage stock control: including receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of goods; shipment loading & transferring; document recording and data entry into system.
• Plan, organise and control warehouse's over-all operations.
• Plan out all warehouse resources and activities in relation to company objectives and set targets.
• Adhere to workplace's health and safety requirements and take responsibility for the security of inventories.
• Optimise warehouse operations according to company's objective.
• Manage inventory accuracy through monitoring of daily warehouse activities, cycle counts, stock takes and audit.
• Ensure all material handling equipment and warehouse equipment/facilities undergo regular maintenance and available for usage.
• Maintain sound material control management system to stock optimal level of spares as per recommendations.
• Manage scrapped materials, hazardous materials and e-waste disposal in a timely manner
• Additional tasks and responsibilities given by power plant management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in relevant field
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in process plant ideally in power station or petrochemical plant.
• Knowledge on material used in operation and maintenance activities of combined cycle power plant.
• Knowledge on material control and inventory management.
• Knowledge in maintaining material usage records in CMMS & SAP.
• Knowledge in handling hazardous/flammable materials.
• Having a valid forklift licence.
