Job Description

• As a Electrical Failure Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for customer return analysis for automotive microcontroller products. You will work on understanding and reproducing customer-reported failures, performing indepth technical analyses using advanced tools and equipment and providing expert guidance to ensure efficient resolution and continuous improvement.
• You will also apply your technical knowledge to support Cost Reduction activities such as test time reduction, test yield improvement, qualify Fab sites and qualify manufacturing flow transfers (from high-cost manufacturing to lower cost location).

Job Requirements:

• Experience in electrical measurement methods: DC measurements, usage of oscilloscopes and frequency generators; physical background for semiconductor measurements
• Knowledge in software development for (automotive) microcontroller applications
• Experience in microcontroller programming with C, Perl or Python
• Knowhow about semiconductor structures and manufacturing (i.e. special knowledge of NVM and or highspeed interface)
• Strong technical / analytical analysis capability – with primary focus on electrical analysis.
• Knowledge of semiconductor physics, failure mechanisms, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in FE and BE yield improvements, Test time reduction activities, fab transfers, and fab / process qualifications.
• Understanding of 8-D Methodology, Statistical Yield Analysis, SBL,DOE, FMEA, FTA, Fishbone Analysis, Is / Is-not, and Why-Why.
• Experience 4 -8 years.

Education:

• A Bachelor or equivalent degree in the field of Electronics, Electrical, Microelectronics, Semiconductor Physics or other technical fields

Prior Knowledge:

• Working experience in electrical failure analysis or product engineering and customer quality a plus

Language Skills:

• Fluency in English, Mandarin would be an advantage
