Key Responsibilities

• Expedite materials to support production requirements, customer demand changes, NPIs, and project transitions.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, pricing, and service commitments.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, obtain quotations, and negotiate pricing, lead time, and terms & conditions.
• Collaborate with planning, purchasing, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure material availability and smooth production flow.
• Generate and analyze reports related to inventory, material shortages, WOS, DSI, shipment status, and supplier performance.
• Monitor inventory levels and optimize material ordering, freight, consolidation, and shipping modes.
• Support MRP activities, demand changes, capacity planning, and customer purchase order processing.
• Follow up on material shortages, stock discrepancies, aging inventory, and shelf-life control.
• Perform supplier performance evaluations and support supplier qualification activities.
• Support weekly shipment tracking, OT planning, and operational reporting.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce material cost, minimize shortages, and improve supply chain efficiency.
• Perform other ad hoc duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Preferably Degree in Business Studies, Supply Chain, Management, or related field.
• Experience in purchasing, sourcing, planning, or material control within manufacturing/PCBA environment is an added advantage.
• Good negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiar with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
