Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and review mechanical systems, components, and equipment
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and calculations
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical works
• Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other engineers
• Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements
• Prepare reports, method statements, and technical documentation
• Support cost estimation, procurement, and material selection
• Ensure adherence to project schedules and timelines

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Relevant experience in mechanical engineering works (site or design)
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and engineering standards
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Familiarity with safety regulations and workplace safety practices
• Good problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in construction, manufacturing, plant maintenance, or M&E works
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or other engineering software
• Understanding of MOM / safety compliance requirements (where applicable)

Working Conditions

• Office and/or site‑based work
• May require site inspections and coordination with multiple stakeholders
