Job Description

The duties and responsibilities of a Teacher shall include the following but not limited to:

1. Plan, prepare and deliver lessons
2. Tailor and apply pedagogy that may attend to different learnings of the students
3. Evaluate and provide feedback on students’ performance via assignments and assessments
4. Monitor students’ social development through counselling and working with parents
5. Work with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. parents) to ensure meeting the pastoral and cognitive needs of the students
6. Apply sports science techniques to manage CCAs in terms of Character & Leadership Development and planning training cycle schedules
7. Participate in departmental meetings, parents’ teacher meetings and any other school-wide training events
8. Any other duties assigned by the School

Job Requirements

• A good undergraduate degree in the relevant discipline
• Post-graduate Diploma in Education is required
• First aid/ CPR/ AED certification will be an advantage
• Passion to teach the age group of students from 13 to 18 years old
• Comfortable in working with highly talented and motivated students
• Possess good experience in indoor and outdoor competitive sports
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong team player

This is a 2-year contract (renewable)
