Summary/Objective 

The crewingassistant ensures efficiency of crewing functions such as timely crew changes. Timely house-keeping of seafarer database in termsof certification. Ensure the crewingfunctions are executed in compliance with the company SMS, systems,policies and procedure.

EssentialFunction

1. Responsible for liaising with seafarers for documents and other matters (e.g checking of certificates, medical check-up as per requirement.
2. Updating of seafarers’ information, documents & certificate expiry
3. Updating of crew planning/rotation list and crew list
4. Responsible to ensure proper manner of crew change and in an efficient and cost-effective manner
5. Ensuring of crew appraisal is conducted, signed, and file
6. Liaising with crew related matters (e.g joiners/repatriation, booking of flight/visa matters)
7. Doing extension of crews’ entry pass and ship landing pass with Singapore Immigration Authority
8. Outward port clearance and immigration clearance declaration
9. Updating crew article, including sign on/off MPA DIGITAL PORT

Required Education and Experience

• Diplomain Maritime or relevant qualification
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft office application
