Job Description
We are seeking an Aerospace Operational Care Specialist to join our Air Logistics team, where you will play a critical role in delivering end‑to‑end operational excellence for aviation and aerospace customers. This role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and solid knowledge of air freight operations, particularly for time‑critical and specialized shipments.
You will work closely with internal teams, airline partners, and global networks to ensure shipments are executed accurately, compliantly, and on time, while maintaining high standards of customer communication and service quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute aviation and aerospace air freight shipments in accordance with customer requirements and service level agreements
- Handle time‑critical shipments including Aircraft on Ground (AOG), EngineChain, routing services, and temperature‑controlled cargo
- Provide timely and professional responses to customer and internal enquiries through calls and system communications
- Coordinate with airlines, global aerospace networks, customer care teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth shipment execution
- Send pre‑alerts and operational updates for critical shipments and escalate issues proactively when required
- Ensure all shipments comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and dangerous goods handling procedures
- Maintain accurate system updates, ensure milestones are recorded, job files are closed daily, and proof of delivery is uploaded promptly
- Follow customer‑specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and contractual requirements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps, risks, and operational optimization opportunities
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Aviation, Aerospace, or a related field
- At least 1–3 years of relevant experience in air freight operations, aerospace logistics, or logistics operations (fresh graduates with relevant exposure may be considered)
- Knowledge of international air freight operations, airline routings, airports, and time zones
- Experience handling time‑critical or specialized cargo (e.g. AOG, temperature‑controlled, or high‑value shipments) is an advantage
- Familiarity with logistics systems and shipment management tools
- Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work under time pressure
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple shipments concurrently
- Willingness to work in a fast‑paced operational environment
