Job Description
Lead the Incoming Raw Material Quality Control team and Laboratory Management team to perform effectively and efficiently and to achieve the objectives of Quality Control team and the Company.
Manage and monitor in house laboratories and external lab daily operation.
Maintain and upgrade Good Laboratory Practices in both microbial and analytical labs.
Establish, review and implement quality system in the responsible Quality Control team according to the agreed ISO system and other quality system.
Lead the Analytical Laboratory to acquire accreditation status and to maintain the HOKLAS accreditation on both microbial and analytical laboratories.
Lead the Lab Management team to further upgrade both microbial and analytical testing methods to be on par with the upgraded international standards.
Provide technical information for risk assessment and problem investigation / solving.
Monitor Nutrition Information Panel compliance by in-house lab test and outside lab verification.
Upgrade both microbial and analytical testing methods with new testing devices and rapid methods.
Collaborate with all related departments to ensure work efficiency.
Job Requirements
University degree or above in Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, Food Technology, Quality Management or related disciplines
Minimum 6 years of experience in food industry, pharmaceutical industry or laboratories
Microbiological analysis knowledge is mandatory
Preferably to have chemical analysis knowledge
Preferably to have solid experience working in the laboratories or lab management
Decisive, analytical minded with sense of problem solving skill to tackle quality issues
Good in project management skills
Good in written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
