Job Description
Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacture of Special Purpose Machinery
Position Title: Purchaser and Material Planning
Working Location: Kallang
Working Hours: Mon-Fri: 8am – 5.30pm
Salary Package: Basic salary $2,500 - $2,800 + Variable Bonus
Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
Plan materials based on forecasts and purchase orders.
Monitor stock levels and arrange purchases when needed.
Prepare and issue purchase orders for materials, tools, and packaging items.
Track orders and ensure timely delivery from suppliers.
Communicate with suppliers to agree on pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Coordinate with subcontractors on product specifications and delivery timelines.
Prepare and submit documents (e.g., PO acknowledgements, invoices) to the Accounts team for payment processing.
Work closely with warehouse and production teams to manage delivery schedules.
Record incoming goods in the system daily.
Support annual supplier performance reviews.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
