An exciting Area Manager (Gear Up Retailer) job has just become available at one of the most recognizable sports retailer brands in Malaysia. To succeed in this Area Manager (Gear Up Retailer) job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and cooperatively with senior business development teams, across borders and internal matrix.
Key requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in a related field and a minimum of three years at a supervisory level
- Fluent in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin proficiency is an advantage as the candidate is required to work with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
- Willing to work according to pre-planned shifts
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Commercial thinking with a sales-driven mindset
- Reporting to the Retail Manager, this is a role for a leader in their field
岗位职责
- Lead stores profitability by driving sales and achieving company objectives
- Achieving the sales target of the stores placed under your territory
- Manage the operations of the stores within the territory
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure operation standards are maintained, provide necessary training to store managers and retail staff
- Review stock transfers and ensure all inventories are in place within stores
- Plan monthly budget and annual sales targets for the area
- Maintain a good work environment by developing retail staff
