Role Summary
The Assistant Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with tax and regulatory requirements. This role supports month-end and year-end closing, drives process improvements, and collaborates across departments to enhance financial efficiency and governance.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting functions — Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
Oversee month-end and year-end closing, review financial results, and prepare variance analysis reports.
Conduct root-cause analysis to improve cost efficiency and financial performance.
Handle income tax computation, filing, and compliance with statutory regulations.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Drive internal control and process improvement initiatives.
Supervise the accounting team and support management in financial planning and reporting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5–7 years of experience in financial reporting or accounting, preferably in manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; SAP or other ERP system experience preferred
