• SPM/STPM or equivalent qualification.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in: Customs Brokerage, Customs Clearance, Freight Forwarding and Import & Export Operations

• Good understanding of Malaysian Customs procedures, tariff classifications, duties, and taxes.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Customer-focused with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Industry: Freight Forwarder

Work Location: Jalan Batu Maung, DIS3PLEX Free Commercial Zone, 11960 Bayan Lepas, Penang,

Work arrangement: Onsite Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Employment Type : 12 months contract with PERSOL

Salary: RM2,000 - RM2,600 (based on experience & skills)

What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare and compile import documentation, including commercial invoices, certificates of origin, and cargo control documents.

• Calculate and advise on applicable duties, taxes, tariffs, and customs-related charges.

• Support customs clearance processes and coordinate payments of duties and taxes.

• Classify goods according to tariff coding systems and ensure accurate customs declarations.

• Assist customers with customs requirements, import/export restrictions, tariff systems, insurance requirements, and compliance matters.

• Liaise with customs brokers, government authorities, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth cargo clearance.

• Process duty drawback applications, tariff concessions, and refund claims where applicable.

• Support warehouse license renewals, customs reporting, and audit-related activities.

• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with customs regulations and company procedures.
