Job Requirement :

• Must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Engineering, or any related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Project Management, Production Planning, PMC, Supply Chain, or related functions within the metal stamping, metal fabrication, plastic injection, or manufacturing industry.

• Familiar with:

 New Product Introduction (NPI)

 New Project Development process

 Shipment and Delivery Coordination

 Inventory Management

• Good understanding of:

 Production planning

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

• Experience using ERP/MRP systems will be an added advantage

Job Responsibilities :

1. Production Planning & Scheduling

• Develop detailed weekly and monthly production plans based on the Master Production Plan issued by China Headquarters.

• Coordinate production schedules to ensure smooth manufacturing operations and on-time delivery.

• Monitor daily production progress and identify bottlenecks.

• Adjust production schedules promptly when unexpected issues arise, including:

o Equipment breakdown

o Material shortages

o Quality issues

o Production capacity constraints

• Report schedule adjustments, causes, risks, and delivery impacts to China Headquarters.

2. Material Requirements Planning (MRP) & Procurement Coordination

• Calculate accurate material requirements (MRP) based on BOM (Bill of Materials) and production plans.

• Prepare and communicate material requirement schedules to the Procurement team.

• Follow up closely with Procurement to ensure timely material availability.

• Assist Procurement in monitoring Malaysia local supplier delivery schedules when necessary.

• Support the development and optimization of stable local sourcing channels.

3. Inventory Control & Slow-moving Material Management

• Monitor inventory levels for:

o Raw Materials

o Work-in-Progress (WIP)

o Finished Goods

• Recommend safety stock when necessary to prevent production interruptions.

• Monitor inventory build-up and identify potential excess inventory issues.

• Escalate inventory concerns for timely discussion and resolution.

• Assist Procurement in organizing monthly and quarterly stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy.

• Analyze inventory turnover and recommend inventory reduction initiatives.

• Assist Procurement in identifying slow-moving and obsolete materials.

• Coordinate with relevant departments to determine root causes.

• Submit disposal recommendations to China Headquarters.

4. Cross-functional & Cross-border Coordination

• Conduct regular communication with China Headquarters PMC, Procurement, and Order Management teams through weekly online meetings.

• Update Headquarters on:

o Factory production capacity

o Material availability

o Delivery status

o Production risks

• Proactively identify and communicate risks that may affect customer deliveries.

• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Warehouse, and Procurement to resolve material-related issues, including:

o Incoming material defects

o Emergency material releases

o Urgent production requirements

• Ensure uninterrupted production through effective coordination.

5. BOM Verification & Production Performance Reporting

• Participate in BOM verification to ensure BOM accuracy.

• Report BOM-related issues, including:

o Material coding errors

o Incorrect material quantities

o System data discrepancies

• Coordinate with Engineering to implement corrections.

• Prepare and issue:

o Production Achievement Rate Reports during trial production and initial mass production stages.

o Production Plan Achievement Reports during normal mass production operations.

• Monitor BOM material loss and production performance indicators.

6. Delivery Performance

• Ensure production schedules are executed efficiently to achieve 100% completion of production planning and on-time order delivery.
