• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MICPA, or equivalent is an advantage).

• Minimum 5–8 yearsof relevant experience in handling the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions, with at least2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

• Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), taxation, and statutory compliance.

• Hands-on experience in preparing full sets of accounts independently.

• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial planning skills.

• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in multiple business entities or group of companies is an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of accounting and finance operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Cash Flow, Fixed Assets, and Bank Reconciliation.

• Prepare and maintain accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing of accounts.

• Monitor the Company's cash flow, working capital, and financial position to support business operations.

• Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis, and provide recommendations to Management.

• Develop and implement financial policies, internal controls, and accounting procedures to safeguard Company assets.

• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including SST, Income Tax, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, Companies Act, and other relevant authorities.

• Liaise independently with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers, government agencies, and other external stakeholders.

• Prepare audit schedules and coordinate annual statutory audits and tax submissions.

• Review and approve accounting entries, journal vouchers, payment vouchers, and supporting documentation.

• Oversee payroll accounting and ensure payroll-related statutory submissions are accurate and submitted on time.

• Monitor and manage the Company's operating expenses and identify opportunities for cost optimization.

• Perform financial analysis and provide strategic recommendations to support business growth and management decision-making.

• Establish and maintain effective financial reporting systems and ensure the integrity of financial data.

• Supervise and mentor finance personnel (where applicable), while remaining capable of independently managing all accounting functions when required.

• Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records, documentation, and filing systems.

• Handle treasury functions, including banking facilities, cash management, and payment approvals.

• Support Management in business planning, investment evaluation, and financial risk management.

• Perform any other finance, accounting, or administrative duties assigned by Management.
