Marketing & Business Development Assistant

Location: Kuching, Sarawak

Salary: RM2,100 – RM2,300 per month + Performance Incentives

We are a growing pest control company looking for our first marketing team member to support our expansion in Kuching and help grow our brand presence.

This role is ideal for fresh graduates or junior candidates with an interest in digital marketing and business development. Candidates with practical digital marketing skills are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Manage the company's social media platforms
• Create marketing content such as posters, pictures and short videos.
• Assist with digital advertising campaigns and promotions.
• Respond to customer pest control enquiries from social media and WhatsApp channels.
• Conduct site visits, assist client needs, and provide a tailored pest control quotation.
• Identify potential business opportunities and assist in developing partnerships through follow-ups and after-sales support.
• Maintain and update marketing materials and customer databases.
• Assist with company events, promotions and branding activities.

Requirements

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms.
• Familiarity with Canva, CapCut or similar content creation tools.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Possess own transport and a valid driving licence.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Facebook or Google advertisements.
• Basic understanding of Google Business Profile and SEO.
• Photography, videography or video editing skills.
• Customer service or sales experience.
