Bachelor's Degree or professional qualification in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Payroll, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience managing end-to-end New Zealand payroll processing and administration.
Experience supporting Australian payroll will be an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation, payroll regulations, statutory requirements, and HR processes.
Hands-on experience using SAP for payroll processing.
Experience working in a multinational organization or HR Shared Services environment is preferred.
Strong understanding of payroll reconciliations, general ledger postings, journal entries, and payroll accounting.
Ability to interpret employment agreements, awards, and payroll policies accurately.
Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A strong commitment to compliance, governance, continuous improvement, and customer service excellence.
Working Arrangement
Location: Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur
Hybrid working model (60% office / 40% remote)
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Malaysia Time)
12-month contract with the possibility of extension based on project requirements
岗位职责
As a Payroll & HR Services Specialist (ANZ Region), you will be responsible for delivering accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing and HR administration services, primarily supporting the New Zealand portfolio. Experience supporting Australia payroll will be an added advantage.
Your responsibilities include:
Manage end-to-end payroll processing across weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll cycles.
Provide payroll advice and support to employees, managers, and HR stakeholders on payroll matters, allowances, statutory deductions, and payroll enquiries.
Ensure compliance with New Zealand payroll legislation, employment laws, taxation, KiwiSaver requirements, and other statutory obligations.
Support Australia payroll administration where applicable.
Process payroll transactions, validate payroll data, and ensure timely salary payments and bank file generation.
Perform payroll reconciliations, general ledger postings, journal entries, and investigate payroll variances.
Prepare statutory reports, payment summaries, year-end payroll activities, and regulatory submissions.
Manage third-party deductions and statutory remittances within established timelines.
Ensure accurate and timely publication of employee payslips.
Respond promptly to payroll-related tickets and employee enquiries.
Support internal and external audits by preparing payroll documentation and required evidence.
Participate in payroll system enhancements, user acceptance testing (UAT), and process improvement initiatives.
Identify payroll risks, recommend corrective actions, and strengthen payroll controls.
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve payroll procedures and work instructions.
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and integrity when handling employee payroll information.
