JOB DESCRIPTION

• Implement safety policies and procedures at site, ensuring compliance with the OHSAS 18001:2007 Management System.
• Carry out regular safety inspections to identify hazards, recommend precautionary measures, and conduct safety briefings and training.
• Oversee material stacking at site to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Conduct Health & Safety Induction training at the jobsite as required.
• Facilitate weekly Toolbox Briefings at the jobsite.
• Enforce proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Perform daily safety and health checks, ensuring follow-up on corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist in accident investigations.
• Implement all relevant policies, procedures, and work instructions as defined in the company’s Occupational Safety and Health Management System.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned from time to time by the superior.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Working location: Brinchang, Cameron Highlands
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
• Familiar with the Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA) and Factory and Machinery Act (FMA).
• ISO 9001/OHSAS 18001 standard requirements.
• Candidates must possess valid yellow book.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Build a good communication and good relationship with other site staff and superiors.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin (added advantage)
• Candidate must be able to travel and based at Cameron Highlands.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
