Job Title: Architect Firm Draftsperson

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our architect firm as a Draftsperson. The Draftsperson will collaborate with architects and designers to create accurate and precise technical drawings and plans. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of architectural principles, proficiency in CAD software, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with architects and designers to develop detailed architectural drawings and plans based on project requirements.
• Create accurate and precise 2D and 3D architectural drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Ensure that all drawings comply with Malaysia standards, UBBL, and regulations.
• Review and analyze architectural sketches, specifications, and other relevant documents to understand project objectives and requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Incorporate design changes and modifications into existing drawings as directed by architects or project leads.
• Maintain a well-organized digital and physical filing system to store and retrieve drawings and project-related documents.
• Collaborate with the project team to address design and technical issues and provide solutions when necessary.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of project bids and proposals.

Qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Draftsperson or similar role in an architect firm or related field.
• Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCad and BIM.
• Knowledge of 2D and 3D drafting techniques and the ability to create accurate technical drawings.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain precision in all aspects of work.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address design and technical challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
