Hotel school certificate or equivalent hospitality training

Waiter: at least 1 year in fine dining or a 50-seat restaurant, or a cruise-ship apprenticeship plus 1 contract as a waiter

Head Waiter: several years of fine-dining or cruise restaurant experience with team supervision

Strong food and beverage service and wine-service knowledge

HACCP and food-safety awareness

Good spoken English and a polished, guest-focused manner

Willing to work onboard a cruise ship on a 6-month contract

Open to Malaysian and Singaporean candidates

Set up and serve assigned tables to fine-dining standards and manage the mise-en-place

Guide guests through the menu, take orders electronically and serve food and beverages promptly

Recommend and serve wine and beverages with good salesmanship

Keep tables clean and tidy throughout the service

Head Waiter: supervise the section and waiters to ensure smooth and excellent service

Deliver warm, professional and courteous service to every guest

Follow all food-safety, hygiene and onboard safety procedures
