Job ResponsibilitiesDemi Chef
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and hotel standards
- Assist the Chef de Partie and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet company standards
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen at all times
- Monitor food stock and minimise wastage
- Comply with food safety and hygiene regulations
Pastry Chef
- Prepare a variety of pastries, cakes, breads, desserts, and baked goods
- Ensure consistency in quality, taste, and presentation
- Assist in developing new pastry and dessert menus
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the pastry kitchen
- Monitor inventory of baking ingredients and supplies
- Ensure proper food storage and handling procedures are followed
Requirements
- Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts, Pastry & Bakery, or related field is an advantage
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience in a hotel, restaurant, café, or bakery
- Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply
- Passionate about food preparation and maintaining high-quality standards
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and public holidays
- Responsible, hardworking, and able to work independently as well as in a team
- Good time management and communication skills
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
