• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and statutory requirements is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and client management skills.

• Able to manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines.

• Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our outsourcing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting functions for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with statutory requirements. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple client accounts, and a commitment to delivering quality service.

• Handle a portfolio of clients and maintain accurate accounting records.

• Prepare full sets of accounts for assigned clients.

• Process Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and general ledger transactions.

• Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.

• Assist clients with accounting-related enquiries and provide timely support.

• Ensure all accounting records are maintained in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.

• Assist in the preparation and submission of statutory requirements, including SST and other relevant filings.

• Liaise with clients, auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities when required.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the Team Lead or Manager.

• Since we are highly digitalized, a lot of data entry work is done by the system. Your role is to verify and complete the date before posting into the accounting system.
