Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Quantity Survey or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Quantity Surveying and contract administration.

Preferred good written and communication skill in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia

Experience in sourcing and dealing with China suppliers will be an added advantage.

Possess own transport.

Preparing the BQ

Monitoring the VO, if any

Preparing the claims / final accounts up & down stream

Preparing report, analysis, cost

To certify on work done / valuation on subcontractor’s claim

To perform taking off / measurement from drawings or onsite

To check on drawings and discrepancies of drawings (actual drawing against drawing checklist)

To call for quotation / enquiries and justify on pre-contract and post-contract works

To compile and prepare (where relevant) submission for tender

Source for vendors (China) and quotations, negotiate perform negotiation with vendor.

Liase with China supplier to track deliveries and verify quantity and quality of delivered items or services with designer and Contract Department.
