About the role

OGC BUILDER SDN BHD' is seeking an experienced Site Safety Supervisor to join our team in Bintulu, Sarawak. As a full-time Site Safety Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing comprehensive health, safety and environmental practices on our construction site. This critical role is integral to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our workforce, as well as maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards
• Delivering toolbox talks and safety training to site personnel
• Investigating and reporting on any incidents or accidents that occur
• Monitoring contractor and employee compliance with safety procedures and policies
• Collaborating with the project management team to integrate safety considerations into all aspects of construction
• Maintaining detailed records and documentation of safety activities
• Ensuring the site adheres to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

• Relevant qualifications: A degree or diploma in Occupational Safety and Health, or a similar field
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site Safety Supervisor in the construction industry
• Knowledge: Thorough understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations and best practices applicable to construction sites
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
