Key Responsibilities:

• Support production workshops in analyzing and resolving technical and chemical issues
• Proposing technical and ergonomic improvements to processes
• Commissioning new equipment
• Creating P&IDs and updating them
• Managing projects related to process optimization (specifications, budget, cost tracking)
• Ensuring the planning, organization, coordination, and execution of technical projects
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Create and update job descriptions
• Develop and optimize work procedures while ensuring compliance with documentation and manufacturing methods
• Participate in departmental risk assessments in support of the safety manager
• Actively participate in the inventory of areas within the scope of the position
• Implement and coordinate action plans.

Requirements:

• HES degree in Chemistry, or equivalent qualification
• 5 years of proven experience in a similar role within the chemical industry
• Strong communication skills.
• Analytical mindset, ability to synthesize information, and proactivity.
• Knowledge of precious metals and refining processes is a plus
• Proficiency in computer tools (Office, SAP)
• The position requires a strong sense of responsibility, versatility, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Note: Might need to travel to Switzerland for training / orientation (short term)
