• Only Mandarin Speaking

• Minimum 1 year of professional video editing experience, preferably in the advertising, arts or media industry

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Capcut, Jian Ying, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro (either one)

• Strong creative and visual storytelling skills, with the ability to bring concepts to life

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines

• Adaptability and the willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams

• Familiarity with colour grading, motion graphics, and sound design principles

• A keen eye for aesthetics and a passion for creating visually stunning content

Please note that we are currently operating from Vfifth Group Sdn Bhd temporarily, as the Credence Universe Sdn Bhd office is under renovation.

Vfifth Group Sdn Bhd and Credence Universe Sdn Bhd are separate entities, but the hiring process for this role is currently handled through Vfifth Group Sdn Bhd. The Video Editor position will mainly support Credence Universe Sdn Bhd’s creative content and production projects.

What you'll be doing

• Editing raw footage to produce polished, professional videos that meet client specifications

• Selecting and arranging video clips, audio, graphics, and special effects to craft compelling narratives

• Collaborating closely with the production team to ensure seamless project delivery

• Adhering to client briefs and brand guidelines to maintain consistency and quality

• Providing recommendations and creative input to enhance the overall video content

• Troubleshooting technical issues and optimising video files for various platforms

• Staying up-to-date with the latest video editing software, trends and techniques
