Job Description:

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot all low-voltage electrical installations and equipment in compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) requirements.
• To attend and update management on any issue related to authorities and power generation bodies such as ST and TNB.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment.
• Implement and maintain a preventive maintenance schedule to ensure the reliability and longevity of electrical equipment, including switchboards, transformers, and distribution boards.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to any work or maintenance calls that arise either by Facility Engineer or by other departments.
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply to critical systems, promptly addressing any electrical issues.
• Ensure all electrical systems adhere to safety regulations, local standards, and company policies.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical machinery and systems to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repair, upgrades, or replacement of electrical equipment.
• Monitor Fire Alarm / Life Safety System systems as necessary, to be fully informed and understand the system operation and to handle emergencies involving the systems.
• Understand and operate electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and water systems.
• Communicate with different departments and to provide them with information and assistance.
• Provide guidance and training to junior maintenance staff on safe work practice and troubleshooting method.
• Solve technical problems and make repairs effectively and efficiently.
• Complete the daily checklist before the end of business day.
• Responsible to make decisions when the Engineer is not available.
• Maintain all tools & equipment, and ensure working areas are in good condition.
• Communicate effectively with engineers, supervisors, and other personnel.

Requirements:

• Must possess at least a Chargemen B0 (11kV) Competency Certificate
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance.
• Knowledge in troubleshooting Chiller, Air Compressor, HVAC, Genset, Fire Fighting and Sewage System.
• In-depth technical knowledge and experience of electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures and regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to mentor and train junior technicians.
• Willing to work in Senawang, Negeri Sembilan

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
