Responsibilities

Electrical Support & Routine Tasks

• Perform visual inspections and assist in the maintenance of:
• Lighting circuits, fans, irrigation pump panels, and other LV systems.
• Assist Chargeman A1 in handling electrical equipment, switchboards, and minor installations.
• Replace fuses, bulbs, and accessories as permitted under A0 license scope.

Testing & Monitoring

• Conduct basic functional tests on sockets, circuits, and LV connections.
• Report abnormalities such as overheating, loose connections, and irregular voltage.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain daily logbook of inspections, findings, and minor tasks.
• Ensure all tools, test equipment, and PPE are in working condition.
• Support compliance with electrical safety protocols and Suruhanjaya Tenaga rules.

Safety & Housekeeping

• Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) and personal safety procedures at all times.
• Keep electrical rooms, DB areas, and panels clean and organized.
• Immediately report safety issues or equipment defects to the supervisor.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Valid Chargeman A0 certificate issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
• Minimum SPM/SPMV or equivalent qualification (with credits in Math or Science).
• Completed A0 competency course from an approved training center.

Experience

• 0–1 year working experience in an electrical maintenance or facility environment.
• Fresh A0 license holders are encouraged to apply.

Skills

• Basic understanding of low-voltage electrical systems.
• Able to use hand tools and basic testing devices (e.g., multimeter).
• Good documentation habits and willingness to learn.

Other Requirements

• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor/agricultural settings.
• Willing to work under supervision and as part of a team.
• Committed to developing electrical skills and progressing to A1 level.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
