We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Retail Manager to oversee daily store operations, staff management, customer experience, inventory control, and sales performance at our Pokémon TCG retail outlet.

The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, problem-solving, and retail operational skills while maintaining a positive and professional working environment.

• Prior retail supervisory or management experience preferred

• Experience in TCG, hobby, collectibles, or gaming industry is an advantage

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Able to work weekends and public holidays

• Responsible, organized, and able to multitask

• Familiar with POS systems and inventory management

• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail

Store Operations

• Manage and oversee daily retail outlet operations

• Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards

• Monitor opening and closing procedures

• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally

• Ensure smooth checkout and payment processes

Sales & Performance

• Drive retail sales and achieve outlet targets

• Monitor daily sales performance and staff productivity

• Plan and execute promotions, launches, and special events

• Suggest improvements to increase sales and customer engagement

Staff Management

• Supervise and lead retail staff and supervisors

• Prepare staff schedules and manage attendance

• Train new employees on store SOPs, customer service, and POS usage

• Monitor staff discipline, performance, and teamwork

• Conduct regular briefings and task assignments

Inventory & Stock Control

• Monitor inventory movement and stock levels

• Ensure proper stock receiving, labeling, and display

• Conduct stock checks and reconciliation

• Investigate stock discrepancies, shortages, or pricing issues

• Coordinate with purchasing/admin team regarding stock replenishment

POS & Cash Handling

• Monitor POS transactions and payment reconciliation

• Ensure daily cash/card/QR settlement accuracy

• Prevent pricing errors and unauthorized discounts

• Verify refund, exchange, and void transactions

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure staff comply with company SOP and policies

• Prepare operational and sales reports when required

• Assist management with process improvement initiatives
