Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with relevant experience in a tax or accounting environment.

Minimum of 1–5 years of experience in corporate tax and/or indirect tax across any tax jurisdiction.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.

Good interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia to support the APAC region.

Prepare tax compliance deliverables for the APAC region, including corporate income tax returns and indirect tax filings (VAT, GST, WHT, stamp duty), tax account reconciliations, and audit support.

Manage end-to-end coordination with internal stakeholders and external advisors throughout the tax compliance process.

Perform monthly reconciliations of all balance sheet tax accounts and undertake other related duties as required.

Identify, document, and communicate any unusual tax expenses to operations and management.

Extract, analyze, and review financial data, providing insights and appropriate recommendations.

Identify and drive automation initiatives and process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Support tax audit management by ensuring timely and accurate responses to tax notices and data requests.

Coordinate information requests with internal teams and external service providers to ensure timely completion of tax reporting deliverables.

Stay informed on tax regulations, audits, and legislative updates that may impact the company’s tax operations.
