The intern will support various process improvement and operational excellence initiatives within the manufacturing environment. The scope of work is to assist in following :

• Map and document production process flows and workflows.
• Conduct process analysis to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Support Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
• Assist in workflow and production simulations using tools such as AnyLogic.
• Support factory layout and material flow optimization projects.
• Perform time studies, productivity analysis, and process performance measurements.
• Collect, analyze, and present manufacturing data and improvement recommendations.
• Assist in continuous improvement and operational excellence projects.

Requirements / Preferred QualificationsCandidates currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in one of the following disciplines:

• Industrial Engineering
• Manufacturing Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Production Engineering
• Mechatronics Engineering
• Operations Management or related fields

Additional advantages include:

• Knowledge of Process Flow Mapping, Lean Manufacturing, or Value Stream Mapping (VSM).
• Familiarity with AnyLogic, FlexSim, Simio, Arena, AutoCAD, or similar simulation tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

The intern will play a part in supporting ongoing productivity improvement, process optimization, and operational excellence projects within the department.

Pay: RM800.00 - RM900.00 per month
