We specialise in large-scale solar, waste-to-energy (WTE), and sustainable infrastructure solutions that support Malaysia’s transition to a low-carbon economy.

As we embark on our strategic transformation, we are looking for a passionate and driven Corporate Communications Intern to join our Group’s Corporate Communications team.

Role Overview

The Corporate Communications Intern will assist in developing and executing internal and external communications, including media engagement, ESG storytelling, and investor messaging. You’ll be part of a high-impact team working directly with senior management to shape the Group’s public narrative, brand visibility, and stakeholder communications.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and edit press releases, media statements, and corporate updates for public disclosure
  • Assist in developing corporate decks, factsheets, investor Q&A, and ESG reporting materials
  • Support media monitoring, social media content planning, and basic design work (Canva, PowerPoint)
  • Contribute to the development of Cypark’s sustainability and transformation communications
  • Coordinate logistics for internal events, townhalls, or press briefings
  • Maintain and update stakeholder and media databases
  • Handle administrative duties as required, including documentation and reporting

Requirements

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Business, or related field
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Strong interest in sustainability, renewable energy, and corporate communications
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office; knowledge of design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe) is an advantage
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail, with good time management and interpersonal skills

What You’ll Gain

· First-hand exposure to corporate communications in a public-listed environment

· Experience working alongside leadership on real-time business matters and market disclosures

· Insight into ESG and investor engagement strategies in the renewable energy sector

· A chance to build your portfolio through meaningful communications projects

· Potential career pathway and mentoring opportunities within the Group
