We are looking for a motivated Finance intern to join our team! As a Finance Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in hotel finance operations by supporting the Finance team in daily Income Audit (IA) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions. You will assist in verifying financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, reconciling accounts and ensuring compliance with the company's financial policies and procedures.

This internship provides valuable exposure to hotel accounting operations, financial controls and month-end closing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in auditing daily revenue transactions from all operating departments;
• Verify sales transactions, cash collections, credit card settlements and other revenue sources;
• Reconcile revenue reports with supporting documents and system records;
• Ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded and filed;
• Review and verify discounts, voids, refunds and complimentary transactions;
• Assist in monitoring customer account balances and ageing reports;
• Support the reconciliation of customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies;
• Assist with credit control activities and collection follow-ups;
• Support month-end closing activities and audit requirements;
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records;
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting procedures and internal controls;
• · Perform data entry and other administrative duties assigned by the Finance team;
• · Any other duties may be assigned by the Management from time to time.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline;
• Possess good analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy;
• Are comfortable working with numbers and financial data;
• Have good organisational and time management skills;
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel;
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills in English;
• Are willing to learn and able to work independently as well as part of a team;
• Demonstrate integrity and maintain confidentiality when handling financial information.
