Responsibilities

Assessment & Intervention

  • Observe and assist in developmental and behavioural assessments, recording clear notes and sharing findings with the team.
  • Support the design and adaptation of early intervention activities that match each child s learning goals.

Therapy Support

  • Assist therapists during individual and group sessions to implement therapy plans and monitor child engagement.
  • Use play based and structured activities to encourage skill practice and generalisation in real settings.

Collaboration & Administration

  • Communicate observations and progress to therapists and contribute to concise case notes and reports.
  • Prepare session materials, help maintain records, and support family communication with sensitivity.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
  • No prior professional experience required; suitable for final year students or recent graduates seeking practicum experience.
